Most cafe jackets are costume. Belts you never buckle, zips that go nowhere, a collar built for a photo and not a headwind.
This one is stripped. Straight front zip, two hand pockets, one internal. The shoulder is cut for reach — arms forward, elbows bent, the way you actually sit on a nineT. Stand up straight in it and it looks slightly too short. On the bike it's exactly right.
Cowhide breaks in over about 400 miles. After that it's yours and nobody else's.

Condition every six months. If it gets soaked, hang it and let it dry slow — heat is what ruins hide, not water.
